CoxCrean Law was founded in February 2006 incorporating Messrs Sean P D Crean Solicitors. In May 2006, the firm relocated to offices in Lower Parkstone, Poole where the practise currently operates. Our philosophy is to embrace technology and common sense to provide a highly personalised approach to all matters delivering exactly what our clients want, when they need it.


Our Partners

Miles Cox

Originally from Cardiff, Miles undertook an undergraduate biomedical engineering degree in London at Queen Mary University before commencing postgraduate studies in law at the London College of Law.

Miles moved to Bournemouth in 2002 taking a job in a well known local firm, where he spent and enjoyed two and half years. In March 2005 he was invited to join Sean P D Crean Solicitors to advance the firm's commercial department. After a successful growth period he was made a partner in February 2006 founding CoxCrean Law.

In the office Miles has a clear vision for the future of Law. He strives to deliver comprehensive legal services in the manner that every client understands and feels comfortable with. He is noted for his ability to unravel difficult problems and produce effective, common sense solutions.

Outside of work Miles has myriad of interests. However, like all proud Welshmen, his main passion is Rugby Union being both an RFU qualified coach and a playing member of a local club he is always kept engaged.

Sean Crean

Sean hails from the east coast maritime hamlet of Felixstowe, Suffolk. He accomplished his undergraduate geographical degree in Southampton before completing postgraduate studies in law at the BPP Law School, London.

Sean spent a number of years working in 'Chambers & Partners' and 'Legal 500' listed firms before relocating to Poole six years ago. Taking a position in a well-known local firm, Sean quickly established himself as one of the area's leading conveyancers. In 2002 he founded the firm Sean P D Crean Solicitors to deliver his vision of a modern law firm.

In the office Sean believes that the modern lawyer should appreciate client relations and communication. He exhibits a no nonsense and an unpretentious approach to conveyancing that has the end result of removing the stress and confusion that clients have traditionally faced.

Outside of work Sean remains true to his maritime routes being a keen sailor and member of a yacht club. His passion for geography still thrives through travelling holidays each year and is a keen sportsman having a talent for tennis and skiing.
